Demo text: My day in Paris
Recently I visited Paris for a business conference and my experience there was magnificent. The conference was opened by two famous businessmen and a black philanthropist.

The first day at the conference was the most interesting. I was especially fascinated to hear a talk from a beautiful woman who is also an expert in the venture capital industry. Her speech was very informative, although some people couldn’t take her seriously in that slim skirt.

I also made some useful acquaintances at the welcoming dinner – like a tech-savvy farmer from Ghana who has some great ideas on how to reform an agricultural sector, or a female lawyer, who spends two months a year helping the poor free of charge.

At the panel discussion, there was a heated discussion on the state regulation of big enterprises. One woman was very aggressive in her statements. But overall, I think many participants agreed with her, including me. While in line for lunch, I overheard a man and his wife talking about that speaker, and I was surprised to hear that she is an HIV victim. I was also amazed that the conference venue was so accessible for handicapped people and those confined to a wheelchair.

The most important takeaway from this conference is that entrepreneurs should learn from nurses. As a nurse is trained to understand her patients’ emotions, so should an entrepreneur empathize with his customers.

I also enjoyed my stay here. Everyone knows why Paris is a cradle of European culture. The city has amazed me not only by its heritage but also by its freedom. For a guy from a small village like me, it was very unusual but also liberating to see homosexuals and transgenders on the streets along with normal people. I especially enjoyed those freshly baked croissants that a little old lady was selling near my apartment.

I think, mankind should pay attention to such cities and take the very best from them: understanding, diversity, and kindness.
